When mainstream access to the Internet rolled around, we thought that was a quick, convenient way to do things. Well, the mobile revolution is here — and apps are the quickest thing going! Maybe you’re under the illusion that finding a new home isn’t something you can do on your mobile phone? Well, we’re here to tell you about some great mobile apps that are fully focused on Real Estate.

Great mobile apps for Real Estate

Here are a few fantastic apps you can put on your phone to help you find a new home, create plans, organise repairs, and just about whatever else you can think of.

MLS Mobile Apps
MLS (Multiple Listing Service) apps are essentially very similar, so we thought we’d just put them all together. We’re talking about Zillow, Redfin, Homelight, and so on — all of the websites that provide you with plenty of home listings for you to search through. The majority of these websites also have mobile applications for you to search through, refine your search and home hunt on the go.

MagicPlan
MagicPlan is a great little app for Real Estate Agents and those looking to go it alone when selling their home. The app allows you to map out floor plans simply by moving your device (iPhone or iPad) around the room — handy, eh?

Real Estate by Trulia
Real Estate by Trulia is a great information resource right in the palm of your hand. The app is capable of telling you about high crime areas, areas that are prone to flooding, even where local restaurants, gas stations and grocery stores are so you can ensure your home is in an accessible area. Of course, the app also highlights local schools so you can ensure your new home will be in an area with a great school nearby for your children.

Homesnap
Found a property you like and want to know a whole lot more? Snap a picture with Homesnap and find out everything you need to know. Is that home worth investing in? Is it a looker? Can you buy it cheap and sell it on for a profit? The app will tell you everything you need to know!

Homesnap also allows you to share properties with your friends and make a note of the properties you like the most, bringing a more sociable side to Real Estate mobile applications.
