The Perfect Home: If I Won the Lottery

For the most part up until this point the properties I've spoken about for the perfect home have been pretty realistic; not so much "dream" properties as "work hard, and this is totally attainable" properties. I'm breaking the mould with that a little bit here and going fora true dream home. The likes of which you're not going to get unless you win the lottery or are the offspring of millionaires. This one is the real dream.

For the most part up until this point the properties I’ve spoken about for the perfect home have been pretty realistic; not so much “dream” properties as “work hard, and this is totally attainable” properties. I’m breaking the mould with that a little bit here and going for a true dream home. The likes of which you’re not going to get unless you win the lottery or are the offspring of millionaires. This one is the real dream.

The Perfect Home: Pure Luxury

For the most part, my personal taste in property is pretty simple. I like things to be small overall, with relatively big rooms and a lot of light. However, today I thought I’d indulge the dream that everyone’s had at least once in their lives; to live in a huge house with hired help, a swimming pool and your own personal cinema… well, we can dream, right?

The luxurious home is a lot bigger than the other homes we’ve spoken about up to now; there’s more rooms than you can shake a stick at, and although most of them seem to have a purpose (games room, anyone?), there’s still one or two that don’t seem to be used for anything specific. The rooms in this house are huge, as is the house itself. It’s able to be bright and airy, but warm and cosy at exactly the same time. Big windows and heavy curtains help this!

There’s space for everyone in the luxury house. If you’ve got family in town and they’re thinking of checking into a hotel, tell them there’s no need! You have the guest room all set up already, and they’ll get better Wi-Fi there than at any hotel!

The kitchen of the luxury house is amazing. There’s so much space you could dance, and every cooking appliance you could ever need is tucked into its own space looking like it fully belongs, just waiting to be used. There’s a breakfast bar in the kitchen, but the real dining table is in the dining room, not taking up any valuable kitchen space.

Cohesive decor isn’t really a thing in this home. Hallways, kitchens and bathrooms are kept quite neutral, but all the other rooms are full on and have gone all out! Each room appeals to a different part of your taste, and that’s absolutely perfect.

The best thing about the luxury house? Having your own amenities to enjoy, without needing to step out. My luxury home would have its own library, games room, cinema and swimming pool for sure. I guess we know who’s throwing the parties!
